Father's Day is coming!

Hey there everyone...well, for those of you that haven't received the emails I've been sending out about ordering Father's Day cards, I'm offering a deal right now. 3 handmade gorgeous cards for $10. You can do any combination you like, 1 FD plus 1 birthday and 1 thank you, or 2 FD, etc...I'm sure you're saying to yourself "well, I don't know if this girl has any talent or not". Fair enough. :-) So, I'm going to upload a few pictures of the cards I've made previously so you can see my work. Please post your comment here if you'd like to order and I'll write you back to exchange emails/addresses. Shipping is just .50 for any order in the US.

I really appreciate you supporting my little hobby. Cardmaking and papercrafting is such a passion of mine, I just adore it. It means so much to me when someone puts in an order, and I promise it will mean a lot to the person who receives your card.

Uh oh, I might be having some visitors so I guess I'd better post today. Last night was cool, I did my first every digital layout. I've been soooo against them; really, I would bash anyone that did them and would say that it's an easy way out. But I was in a predicament last night and, well, needed an easy way out! But I found that you can be just as creative digitally as you can at the table. I have to say that I still prefer to touch, feel, smell, etc...my scrappin' stuff, but I will be doing at least one more digital layout before the LOAD project is over. I'm loving LOAD; it has helped me to keep a comittment every night for over 3 weeks now and that feels good; it has also helped me venture out to try new things (like digital!) and to scrap themes I would never think of. I have to say that I'll be glad when it's over; I'm ready to make some cards and start selling and I'm a little burned out, but all in all, it's been an incredible project. And I really do feel so proud. And, the best news of all, we ended up not going out of town so now I don't have to freak out! Well, I'm off...my letter tonight is Z, for Izzie!

I have a header!

I have been working on Lain Ehman's LOAD project all month and it has been quite a challenge. LOAD, "Layout of the Day", requires us to scrapbook a layout everyday for one month. Lain sends prompts each night for artistic inspiration but there have been a few nights when I have almost not made the cut off. Tonight's challenge was to scrap about our blog or someone else's; I decided to take the opportunity to make my header so here 'tis. I'm so glad I know Photoshop, man, it comes in handy.

This is one of my favorite kit sites. I have been a customer of Paper Posies the longest, and have loved every single kit I have received from them. Just a few days until National Scrap Month, wooo wooo! I think I will use this month to get myself off the ground creatively and with this blog!

Today is the first day...

of the rest of my blog. I thought I'd go ahead and add some text here, even though I have no blog header, no blog design, nor no blog content. But it's coming and I'm excited about it! I guess I'll work on my header first, I'll have to get some ideas from somewhere! Here we goooooooooooo....!
